Jerilyn Sawyer originates from Rhode Island with a hearty northern attitude and a love of music stemming from her youngest memories. She entered the sphere as a child performer where her voice could be heard anywhere from the NASCAR racetracks to the greens of Foxboro Stadium. As a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music, Sawyer worked alongside world-renowned songwriters, lawyers, composers, conductors, and performers to perfect her craft and expand her musical palette both in the creative and business sphere.
Sawyer has spent years working in music management on an international level, first in Sydney, Australia and later with a Nashville-based artist management company. Sawyer immersed herself in all spokes of the entertainment industry before opening her own artist management company with current business partner, James Garner. She has worked with Tanya Tucker, Dolly Parton, KC and the Sunshine Band, JT Hodges, and Jamie O’Neal, to name a few.
An Ambassador to Berklee College of Music for Nashville, Sawyer continues today providing tools, resources, and networking opportunities for young professionals.
After a 17 year hiatus from releasing music, Sawyer worked closely with legend Tanya Tucker to develop a creative strategy to reignite her existing fan base while introducing her to a younger generation. This includes a new album and documentary set to release in fall 2019.
James Garner, a born and bred Englishman grew up north of Birmingham. His father, adoringly known as Gaza, worked with the likes of Metallica, Marilyn Manson, and Slipknot. Taken under his wing, Garner began working in toe, touring globally from Japan to Brazil and Russia to Australia with Trans Siberian Orchestra, Stone Sour, Slipknot, etc.
With a knack for management and international touring in his blood, Garner began working as country icon Dolly Parton’s band road manager, touring the world twice over with the global superstar. Focused on numbers and always remaining budget conscious, Garner became known for increasing his clients profitability through efficient touring logistics.
After Tanya Tucker took a multiple year hiatus from the road, she turned to Garner to put her band and crew together and to build her now bustling international tour schedule, overseeing all aspects of the original female outlaw’s career.
